- Nosy Hara can only be reached by sea from Ampasindava, after a 34 km overland journey from Diego-Suarez (Antsiranana), a route that is passable in the dry season but difficult in wet weather. Once in Ampasindava, visitors board a speedboat for a 45-minute to 1-hour crossing, offering magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.
- The park can also be reached by sea from Nosy Be, via the Mitsio archipelago and Cap Saint-Sébastien, by pleasure boat in less than 24 hours.
