In Ambanoro, modernization is taking shape through the Climate Resilience and Biodiversity Preservation Project (CRBPP). This initiative is designed to strengthen community resilience to the impacts of climate change while safeguarding Madagascar’s unique biodiversity.

Among the planned achievements, a modern communal washing facility will be built to improve access to water and ease daily life for residents. This infrastructure is the result of close collaboration between the project and the local community.

One resident, Mrs. Samsia, has chosen to play an active role by donating the land needed for construction.

She shares: “Seeing Ambanoro modernize brings me joy. I offered this land wholeheartedly, so that it may serve not only us today, but the generations to come.”

Her generous gesture reflects the spirit of the CRBPB: engaging communities in both biodiversity preservation and the building of a sustainable future.
